As we progress through the 2022/23 winter session, we are excited to see vibrancy return to our campuses.

Whether you are a new or returning student, a faculty member or staff, we are excited to welcome you.

As we continue to see an increase in activity on our campuses and distributed learning sites, we remain committed to maintaining a healthy and safe environment for all UBC community members. Within this website, you can find information, resources, and updates about UBC’s response to COVID-19 and what the university is doing to support you. You’ll find information tailored for students, faculty and staff – as well as updates around events guidance, mental health resources and UBC’s approach to COVID-19 safety planning.

As we have done throughout the pandemic, UBC will continue to monitor the situation regarding COVID-19, and is well placed to adjust its approach if required. We encourage all members of our community to receive their COVID-19 vaccine booster doses. We also encourage you to show empathy and support for your friends and colleagues, understanding that everyone has different circumstances as we move through the pandemic.

Please make sure to bookmark this site to stay up-to-date on any UBC announcements related to COVID-19 and UBC’s response. Let’s continue to support one another, and create a safe environment for all members of the UBC community.

Get vaccinated!

We strongly recommend that all UBC community members get vaccinated and if eligible, receive their booster dose, which minimizes the severity of illness and transmission to others. In BC, vaccines are available for incoming international students, who can receive their vaccinations after arriving in Canada. You can learn more at https://immunizebc.ca.
